Chapter House Renovation Update (9/19/13): Our actives are moving in this week, and the Beta Alpha Alumni Assoc. is spending thousands of dollars on repairs and improvements. We have repaired all plumbing issues and the women’s bathroom floor and shower are nearing completion of work. Today, we received the first shipment of shiny new leather couches and mattresses, with the balance being delivered on Monday (six new couches total). This Saturday, we will be installing new vinyl flooring in the kitchen and hooking up the new commercial dishwasher after that. For the first time in years, the Chapter House is at capacity with ALL ACTIVE LIVE-INS! Next week’s Rush will mark the completion of our three-year Chapter rebuild project and will be the start of an historically good year in the illustrious 83-year history of UCLA Theta Chi!
